It’s Giveaway time, Ladies! What would a Birthday Bash be, if there weren’t gifts? Not everyone will get a gift, but today one lucky person will. I am giving away a bundle to make your very own Casey Skirt, identical to the sample I made for Jessica in the above photo. And that includes…
- A PDF copy of the Casey Skirt Pattern
- 3 yards of Kaufman Essex Linen Blend in Flax
- One spool of Burgundy Top-stitching Thread
- One 9″ Zipper
One note about the giveaway; you will get 5 entries if you purchase any Brijee Pattern (use coupon code BDAYBASH for 21% off!). I really didn’t want any of you missing out on the discount code in the hopes you would win the giveaway, so if you do win the giveaway and you did purchase the Casey Skirt Pattern, you will be refunded your purchase amount for the pattern.
The giveaway is open worldwide, and will end at 12:00 PM EST on July 31st.
Have fun!
Congratulations to Hannah for winning the giveaway!
Blessings,
Brigid E.
At this point, I’m regretting not having tested the pattern when I could 🙂 But I was short on time and my size had already been taken. So giveaway it is! And linen? Be still my heart!

I am planning on making the Casey skirt out of an embroidered linen that I have had in my stash too long! Also hoping to make one in a nice lightweight denim for the fall. I want to use some fancy vintage buttons from my grandmothers to add the finishing touch to the waistband.

Every time I see Jessica modeling that outfit I want to make up the shortsleeve version of Brooks blouse!
I already have at least two planned in my head with a possible third!

This sounds like a fun giveaway! I entered!
Linen sounds like a good fabric for the casey skirt. I think a nice Chambray would work too.
I LOVE those pockets!

I would love to make a Casey Skirt with either lightweight chambray or a linen… my summers and winters are spent wearing linen so it would be a staple year round!!! Can’t wait to make both of these patterns– you have done such an amazing job, Brigid!!

Ooo, I love the chance to win this! I don’t have a lot of sewing experience, but I think a bit heavier weight fabric in brown or sage/army green would make this a nice winter staple.
