B-Day Bash | Brooks Blouse Giveaway

Birch Organics, Brooks Blouse, Casey Skirt

You know what one of the things I am most excited about the Brooks Blouse pattern is? You can make it in a knit! I know, I have said that over and over this past week, but seriously! What is more comfortable and vintage chic than a knit blouse? When made up in a high quality knit like the https://widget-prime.rafflecopter.com/launch.js” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener”>Birch Organic Cotton I used for Charlotte’s blouse, you can’t fail to make a gorgeous garment. So, today (you knew it was coming!) I am giving away a knit Brooks Blouse bundle, so one of you can make your own knit Brooks Blouse! You will get:

Cloud 9 Organics, Knit, Brooks Blouse Pattern, Giveaway

  • 1&1/2 yards of Cloud 9 Organics Stripe Interlock Cotton Knit in Citron (seriously, this stuff is the best. Butter is not an adequate description of its softness).

  1. I’ve been obsessed with making the Brooks blouse in a variety of solid colour and striped knit fabrics ever since I first saw it! I’d love to make it in mustard, teal, crimson…the possibilities are endless! It’s such a great blouse and a wonderful vintage wardobe staple!

  2. Oooh! Butter soft organic cotton fabric? Now that sounds heavenly! I’ve been having some trouble finding high quality knit fabric (so many of them seem to be made to pill and wear out!) Do you have any recommendations for shops to buy great quality knits?

Other than knit, I think I want to try a version in seersucker!

  3. I really like the striped pattern you chose. The color seems like it could coordinate with a lot. 🙂 I love the style of this shirt – it’s different, but not to ‘out there’, and it looks really cute tucked into the skirt!

  4. I’ve never been a good seamstress but I really hope to change! I’ve found more and more difficult to find clothes that match my style, if I could just create them it would be so much easier.

  5. I’m hoping to make this out of a novelty print jersey knit, as well as dotted swiss and maybe even a linen 🙂 Thank you so much for hosting this giveaway, Brigid! xo

  6. I think I’d use a cotton lawn or navy linen for the short sleeved option, or cream Swiss dot cotton for long sleeves.
